The Team

Janet Thorne, born and educated in England and college at Alliance Francais, Paris. Qualified as a Registered Nurse at Westminster Hospital, London. Moved to Central Africa and after 8 years working as an O.R. Sister, passed her pilots license and changed her career and flew professionally. Retiring from flying in the mid 90's, completed a two year course as and Aesthetician and Massage Therapist at the International Academy of Health and Skin Care in Cape Town. Further study in Lymphedema treatment and Manual Lymph Drainage at the Vodder Institute in Austria, Formed her own Spa and Lymphedema Clinic in South Africa before joining her sister Mollie in Austin, where they started Skin and Health Therapy.

Mollie Wing, born and educated in England, a College trained Childrens Nurse, Taught English as a second language in Europe. Completed an eighteen month course as an Aesthetician and Massage Therapist at Bretlands College, England before moving to Austin, Texas in 1979. Studied Manual Lymphatic Drainage in 1982 and 1984 in Canada and Austria and opened her own skin and health business in 1985 in Austin also started and operated a skin clinic for 12 years at Lake Austin Resort. Contracted to the Austin Lymphedema Clinic for two years before joining with Janet on her arrival to the US and starting Skin and Health Therapy.

David Thorne, a South African educated in England, a qualified professional pilot -worked in Central and South Africa as an Airline Captain and on retirement studied a business management course with the University of South Africa, instrumental in forming a Corporate Aviation Organization in CapeTown which he managed for 8 years before joining Janet and Mollie in Austin, Texas and starting a new career as the Administrative Manager for Skin and Health Therapy.
